I-83 BLIZZARD
Have consistent amounts of 16" from my friends who are home. NwBaltimore can you please confirm for me. Exactly what I have. 7 inch existing ice pack and 16 on top of it.
josh
9.25" measured on my rooftop here in Clarendon
dailylurker
Whatcha got there disc?? If you only got 7", you're either not measuring correctly or you live south and east of crofton. I'm maybe 5 miles west of crofton and am sitting at about 11". Wow, that really stinks. Now I feel worse. I'm a few miles east of crofton.
PrinceFrederickWx
An amateurish measurement of about 4.5 inches earlier this morning but it was raining hard and melting the snowpack. Not sure how much we originally had. I'd guess around 5 inches. Its a big block of slush under the snow now.
HighStakes
Snow is still holding on but is lightening. Some sleet mixing in. 16 inches is a good average of several measurements.

Joshfsu123
Sleeting/raining a little at Navy Yard right now... temp right around 32 so more rain than sleet, although it changes to snow flurries from time to time. Said earlier we got 7.5 inches at Navy Yard... just went out and did a couple measurements from the neighborhood, while trying not to fall on the ice that is now on top of the snow, and measured a solid 8 inches on the ground in multiple locations. Maybe was even higher before the rain/sleet happened. Really nice snow and hopefully we get a couple more inches tonight and tomorrow.
Stormpc
Light freezing rain, 31. Shoveling this is a b!tch. 11-12 inches with a crust of sleet on top compacted by rain. Spent 1 hour and only 1/4th's complete. Get out there and pile it up!
PhineasC
Looks like I have about 13. Nothing happening here right now.

Yeoman
I'm surprised how many people measure in grass. Even people who should seemingly know better. I doubt it has anything to do with measuring more snow
GramaxRefugee
Wow, that really stinks. Now I feel worse. I'm a few miles east of crofton. I agree and confirm it stinks. I might be 5 east of crofton. We really got a rain sucker-punch. 35F here
09-10 analogy
Took three or four measurements on the deck and on a table we have out there, all between 11.5" and 12.25". Didn't get a chance to measure earlier, right after the snow stopped and before the DC drip began. Two ground measurements of 13" and 13.25". Heck of a storm, even if we don't get much more later on. My daughter thinks so too.
Deck Pic
34, light rain. Final total from round one. 8.25".
TowsonWeather
Got just about 14 inches in Towson (measurements ranged from 13 to 14) before the changeover around 7:00 a.m. - then an hour or so of sleet and rain...then back to snow (got about a fresh 3/4 inch), then finally back to a light rain/sleet/snizzle mix currently. Gonna go with 14 for this batch. Would be great to get a couple fresh inches this evening, though... #greedy
Deck Pic
I'm surprised how many people measure in grass. Even people who should seemingly know better. Havent had a chance to check things yet, but any grass measurements as you know are bogus unless you shave off a certain percentage. I was getting like 120% of my actual total in grass even without shoving my ruler hard into the ground

BTRWx
Good thing we have the sleet icing on top to keep what's underneath for the time being. Hopefully my temp has hit a road block at 36.5 in Alexandria.
