Crystal City Jeff
32.2 here in Crystal City I live literally right across from DCA and it has switched back to a snow/sleet mix instead of just all sleet....I would say 50/50 ...coming down at a moderate rate. It's amazing to see the temp fluctuate depending on the direction of the wind gust....every time it gusts from the NE it bumps up a tad....and then when it gusts from the NW...back down again. What a battle going on in the lower layers...it's all about the temp profiles. As I'm writing this post...we just had a gust of wind from the South East. aldie 22
Just make sure you measure pre shrinkage and all will be fine. Winds are messing with me...I always use the official spotter reports for my totals but take a measurement myself for my personal weenieism....I like to avoid conflict on these here boards

GEOS5ftw
Here in Wheaton, about 13" on the ground - was just over 5 at 2:30am. Temp rose quite a bit and now at 32.4 with mostly sleet, so this is probably it for accumulations until the deform later. Amazing temp gradient across Moco right now. peribonca
mod snow in Petworth now. Had 30min of sleet/zr starting at 6am then gradually went to sleet/snow over the last hour. Finally back to 100% flakes! Really wondering how much we get later this afternoon. The TV mets seem to be downplaying it quite a bit.

The Ole Bucket
Hit by light sleet and snow on the way into the office. Then greeted with an email that told everyone to stay home.... sent after I left. Prolly a foot IMBY but I'm on a downslope. Betting it's more like 10" elsewhere in Cville.
