Symblized
Back to mostly snow here. Almost looks like the edge of the mix evaporated. I was seeing that on the radar and was wondering whether the obs matched the radar, so thanks. Sleety here in Baltimore, which also matches the radar. GramaxRefugee
Heavy rain or ZR in Davidsonville/Gambrills 32F at 6:00am Measured 6.0", but it must have been beaten down pretty good. Shoveled for a while. Heavy, wet junk. Fairly windy
WTHunter
Finally changing over to sleet here in Baltimore City(21202) with a little snow still mixed in. Measured 11.5" and figure another 1/2 hour of even this and it should be a foot out there. Had a report that MD SHA pulled their plows off the road around 4AM(not able to keep up) for a couple hour break.
jnis
Just finished a nice walk. 1/8mi vis with heavy snow. 21/20 About 12"+ in Damascus, Md. Elevation

Dr No
We've gone back to 100% snow now: heavy snow. Visb <1/4 mile. It still ticks (vs. sleet pings) on the window so there is some riming going on and a layer up there at or just above 0.
Snowpocalypse
Over 14 in Cecil county. Added 3 inches since 4am. Now sleet mixing in Im in Elkton, same here. Eyeball at least 12-14. Sleet started 10-15 mins ago.

aldie 22
Don't care about measurements...this is awesome! Fat flakes for the first time...some warmer air leaking in?
peribonca
had sleet/freezing rain mix in Petworth @ 6am which switched back to mod snow at 630am just as I finished shoveling. I actually like a layer of sleet on top of this snowpack since it usually delays melting significantly.
MetalCapsFan
31 deg, sleet moderately coming down mixed w/ a few pingers and the occasional snowflake. Wind is howling more consistently now in 21211 (B'more City)
Max Power
Here in Frederick MD looks like the flakes are getting bigger, still coming down pretty heavily. Almost 25F. I hope we can keep the r/s line at bay.
North Balti Zen
I guess this is where lack of a high locking in fresh cold air means we lose the changeover battle. Props to Matt for being on this for those of us riding the line, helped to set my expectations anyway.
jpljr77
Just incredible in Silver Spring, MD. Just under 11''. It was sleeting a bit 15 minutes ago, then mixing, but right now I think it's all snow (well, maybe a little sleet). Light to moderate rate. I really was not expecting 11'' overnight. DCA Weather
Ripping snow in Ashburn. 24 degrees. Roughly 11" on the ground (hard to measure). I have a relatively small driveway, and by the time I finished shoveling it (about 30 minutes), it was already pretty snow covered again.

miller.b.time
Took a very rudimentary measurement with my trusty ruler on various flat surfaces here in CHO. Got 10-11", though would need another CHO-vite to corroborate since I'm not sure if I was getting the best measurements. Most of those killer bands that made it up 95 went just east of us, but I'm not complaining. Plenty of +SN here overnight, and is SN at the moment. Looks like we have a bit more to go before things quiet down for awhile. It was great hearing about the rates out of those bands, though! Can't even imagine. Looking forward to what the rest of the day brings.

T. August
Measured 9.5" in Harford County AFTER the changeover. I'm sure it was over 11" before it was compacted and started to "melt".
