The precip keeps oscillating between some snow and rimed snow, back to sleet and a little rimed snow and back. You are well west of the line. I-95 appears to be the dividing line between sleet and rain to the east, and sleet, rimed snow and dendritic snows to the west. Just re-shoveled the walks I did at 4 am...the 3 inches or so that has fallen since is much heavier and wetter. Still ripping snow, nervously listening to the reports of pingers by BWI. 3dcg Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Was snowing heavy at 4:20am / temp 27.1 (probably 8" or so); within 10 minutes the pingers started and has been pretty heavy/noisy since. Temp up to 31.1 (5 miles south of BWI) outside for a quick walk with the dog. 32.1 now and rain mixing in with the sleet. Nice thump though overnight!
