Up to 30 degrees here now, light freezing rain/sleet falling, 12" on the snow board with compaction - that is since the start without clearing it.  I am guessing maybe 14-15" without compaction based on some other local reports.  I am in SE Loudoun north of Manassas Battlefield.

Light rain/drizzle. 35 degrees.  Drip drip drip.  Hard to get a solid measurement due to some drifting and compaction but I'm going with 10".  Will wait to see other obs around me though.

FWIW I have 13" up here. I didn't get any of the sleet until the heavy stuff went north.

I'm actually very glad to see sleet and ptentially dryslot this far north. It means the ULL is coming in west of where even the short range models (like HRRR) have it progged and likely the deformation band will come further north/west as well, and I may have a chance at my elusive TSSN.

Wind is picking up here too (Germantown/Gaithersburg line)

Parked under one of the nice outer bands of snow.  Probably around 13" or so.  Looks like we'll have a couple hours to catch up on some of you who sprinted out to higher totals to our east.  Very happy to see this overperforming out this way.  Was nervous with the models not getting too much here (other than the Euro).

Did the storm track more westerly than anticipated, or did the precip field just make it farther to the west?

Have consistent amounts of 16" from my friends who are home. NwBaltimore can you please confirm for me.

Thanks, that's probably what it is at my house.

Here at Millersville it's around 11" or so

EDIT: 12" final total for round 1

Congrats, jonjon. I am guessing the precip field made it further west.

Measured 5.25 at 8 this morning but hear pings by 3:00 this monring. Going with 5.5 as a storm total. Kind of expected but a disappointment that I didn't eek out more before the transition.  This one of those living east sucks kind of storm.

CWG did well, good decision not to trim amounts.

Wow so my measurements are correct. Nice, thank you. I hope you are enjoying this storm.

Pretty thrilled. Nothing to hate about this, in this kind of progressive pattern with a bootleg retreating high to the north. Damn near a winter miracle.

Hope you have a great trip.

9.5" Alexandria/Fairfax County boundary, torching with rain

35.8 in Crystal City...still very light rain falling....getting noticeably windier out there

This cold light rain is torture right now :axe:  ...that ULL pivot can't get here soon enough (IF it is going to fall as snow)
