Death band getting ever closer to Frederick, MD [21703 - near 270/70 interchange]

Still 23 degrees F, heavy snow to become extremely heavy w/in the next 30 minutes (per radar).

Stay safe everyone!  :snowing:  :snowing:  :snowing:

Looking at radar Ballenger Creek area is currently under that Orange swath.

Took a very rudimentary measurement with my trusty ruler on various flat surfaces here in CHO.  Got 10-11", though would need another CHO-vite to corroborate since I'm not sure if I was getting the best measurements.  Most of those killer bands that made it up 95 went just east of us, but I'm not complaining.  Plenty of +SN here overnight, and is SN at the moment.  Looks like we have a bit more to go before things quiet down for awhile.  It was great hearing about the rates out of those bands, though!  Can't even imagine.  Looking forward to what the rest of the day brings.

A torchy 43 here in SBY. Heavy rain and quite windy. Good sleeping weather, awful otherwise.

Yeah a bit depressing here in Salisbury :( Turn on your news and watch me! WMDT47 ABC ;)
