Looking at the radar, that looks like a lot of rain coming this way into Lancaster. Hopefully as others have said the column can cool and we get snow. Hate to lose all of the good snow we accumulated from this morning.

A look at the dual pol products on LWX radar shows that it appears theres a decent eastward progression of the snow line down in MD towards DC. I would say Lancaster should change over fairly quick if it starts as rain or mix.

The area due north of the 700 mb low is starting to see some enhanced values of frontogenesis. It looks like a band will start to form there in the next few hours, especially as the dry intrusion continues to move eastward. The best forcing is currently in a band from Hagerstown to NE PA. That feature will slowly move northeastward tonight with the 700 mb low center.

Snow has picked up in intensity here in State College; it's got to be at least 1"/hr. About 7" of snow from this event so far.

There's some near 40dbz splotches in that band between State College and Lock Haven. Also appears that it's finally starting to shift back east. IPT looks to get back under some heavy snow.
