HoarfrostHubb
I think you've said that already Nukes have a tendency of doing that. Blockbuster? That I would have to respectfully disagree with Gulf Coast to Maine with 2' amounts in the Mid-Atl, Tens of thousands of customers without power. If a book III is written this storm will have a page. Ya ya. You are correct for it being a blockbuster on a larger scale. I guess I meant for SNE specifically

BrianW
Long time follower. My girlfriend is in Fairfield County/SW CT. Is 4-8 likely there? MODELS HAVE BEEN CONSISTENT WITH THIS BACKSIDE DEFORMATIONBANDING OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS...AND CONFIDENCE IS MODERATE TOHIGH IN A SWATH OF HEAVY SNOW ACROSS THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY...NENJ...NYC/LI METRO AND SW CT. TRAVEL WILL ONCE AGAIN NOT BERECOMMENDED TONIGHT IN THIS AREA...WITH SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 3INCHES...AND AS MUCH AS 4 TO 8 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOW LIKELYHERE. THERE IS A LOW PROBABILITY OF AN ADDITIONAL 8 TO 12INCHES...PARTICULARLY N&W OF NYC. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ISLIKELY AFT MIDNIGHT ACROSS THIS AREA AS WINDS BEGIN TO PICKUP...WITH VSBY DROPPING TO QUARTER MILE OR LESS.
TalcottWx
Any shift east? low is a little southeast again.. its reflectivity product has me snowing at 1am on the backend of the heavy rain. It's very odd.
TalcottWx
It looks like it might be trying to shift the heavy totals to the berks on our side of the western sne border..
DomNH
New NAM is essentially nil on the backside for most of us. Hudson Valley gets ripped. 700mb low over central MA is not a good recipe for success.
ROOSTA
This storm might not be the show and looking like it comes in second place. Show of shows and the bigger storm at least for E Ma. is taking shape for the weekend.
TalcottWx
Things remain the same on RAP/HRRR/NAM... An inch or two at best eastern areas. I think more interesting thing to track is jackpot berks or over the border.

It's staying west as all guidance has had...may creep into western MA or western CT but it's NBD this storm is mainly over for most of SNE. ROOSTA
There comes a time that models just don't cut it. I find it hard to believe that just north of NYC receives another 24" But then again who's laughing at Roger now.

Yeah the writing has been on the wall for over 24 hours with the backside deformation stuff for anyone east of ORH and really the Berks...nothing more than an inch or two. I find it hard to believe that just north of NYC receives another 24" But then again who's laughing at Roger now. My thoughts from midday Tuesday worked out well, which were: 6-12" outside of 495 4-8" betwn 495 and 128 3-6" inside of rt 128 2-5" se ma. In hindsight, I should have upped to 5-10" from 4-8", but never pulled the trigger. I also should have tightened the gradient inside of rt 128...I had the immediate coast right, but it built up quickly inside of rt 128. A-
