...HEAVY SNOW IMPACTING NORTHERN MASSACHUSETTS AND SOUTHERN NEW
HAMPSHIRE...

HEAVY SNOW BAND THAT HAS IMPACTED MUCH OF CONNECTICUT AND RHODE
ISLAND THIS MORNING IS LIFTING NORTH INTO CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS
/INCLUDING THE GREATER BOSTON AREA/ AND SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE.
THIS SNOW BAND WILL MAINTAIN ITS INTENSITY WITH HOURLY SNOWFALL
RATES OF 1 TO 4 INCHES! BY 4 PM THE HEAVY SNOW BAND WILL BE ALONG
THE MASSACHUSETTS AND NEW HAMPSHIRE BORDER AND EXITING SOUTHERN
NEW ENGLAND...WITH MUCH LIGHTER PRECIPITATION TO FOLLOW EARLY THIS
EVENING. HOWEVER UNTIL THEN TRAVEL WILL BE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS AND
NOT RECOMMENDED.

Just when I think it can't get any heavier, it does.   Flakes just grew in size, combined with the unbelievably heavy downpour of snow, and we might be going past 3"/hour.  If someone told me that this is 5"/hour stuff right now in North Andover, I'd believe them.
