Clinch Leatherwood
This is the latest Euro and it's a contrast from earlier runs. Note the evident circulation that's visible on radar and passing up through and over into Cape Cod Bay. That's helped to back winds and you can see the difference between the last three runs. Not the double S structure evident in surface temps with one center over Cape Cod Bay and the other off Jersey.

wackymann
Just got home from the supermarket in Chelmsford, MA. Heavy heavy snow... Heaviest I've seen in years. I'd say 3+ inch per hour type stuff. Roads were getting very slippery even with snow tires. Looks like we have about 5 inches on the ground. Typhoon Tip
I admit I was surprised to see folks reporting rain in Boston earlier...but I still thought it was premature to jump without the parachutes. The omega sig was really really strong. But I can see how it's hard "trusting" the guidance sometimes to bring you back from the dead. The wind has also backed NW a tad -- that's definitely playing a role here.
