Nate
Looking at the Weymouth TWDR, is the rain/snow line that sharp increase in reflectivity located from near Brookline to Stoughton to Taunton? The line seems to move west on the animation. I live in Stoughton (curious what's going on at home) but am in Norwood at work, all snow here. TauntonBlizzard2013
Not "heavy" here. Would call them large sloppy aggregates at the moment. It's weird here. It's fluctuating between what you describe and heavy bursts. Well see what happens. I think we are rain here within the next hour or two

OceanStWx
Oh - then I am off on timing. I often forget that many of the heavy heavy posts are ppl far south. What is the timing for here? Probably mid afternoon, but don't expect a near stationary WAA band of snow. It will be translating northward, but maybe southern NH can get in on a little pivot action. Wonkis
Narragansett, RI. Snow has changed over to rain - some sleet mixing in. Bridgetown Road is closed in Narragansett - due to disabled cars and a truck. And the corner of Boston Neck Road and South Ferry is blocked - a RIPTA bus slid off the road. MarkO
still with the paltry snow growth in Lowell, temp up to 25.7/24. Only about 1.5" OTG, the only thing keeping my head out of the noose is the wind stirring things up. 40/70 Benchmark
I'll gladly eat my words, but this entire evoloution has always been one big red flag for me with regard to heavy totals in e MA.
