ANOTHER yellow band? http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full.php (time sensitive) It is almost as if yellow bands are becoming a sort of standing wave in the flow over N VA and DC

jacindc
VERY I am watching my home cameras and sobbing uncontrollably. I feel your pain. I watched PDII from Wyoming, where it was sunny and 40 degrees. My dad and my brother and I spent two days in front of the TV, cursing our luck. Jebman
I have already saved more images for this storm than I have for all the other storms this year combined. Tell me about it! I have nearly a gigabyte of images from all the storms this winter, including this one. My phone can hold about 15 gigs of pics on an sd card. I am gonna use it in the next few days. Kmlwx
National radar image/loop that Jebman just posted is a thing of beauty. Listening to MoCo plow operations right now on the scanner and they keep saying how they've "cleared x road to bare pavement" - must be all the roads that aren't visible to the traffic cams

jacindc
Didn't one of the hi-res outputs predict a jackpot from DC to BWI? The way the bands are melding, you can kind of see that setting up (and continuing to the southwest).
k94
Silver Spring MD, in that 35-40dBZ band, flakes are big, coming down at a very nice clip. Can't really get better than this .
