dman
Temp climbed another 0.4 to 26.1 and then fell back to 25.9. Still snowing moderate pixie dust with occasional real snow flakes. Eyeball maybe 2". Winds gusty 10-15, variable but mostly from NNE.

Pityflakes
Don't use radar to forecast. ;-) I'm in one of the few locations here where DCA is actually representative! So I've been groomed for failure these last few years. Now that I've looked outside, it's ripping snow, about 1.75" on the ground, temp is dropping at 25/23. Woot. clskinsfan
Bands really starting to pop on radar now. Models had the heaviest from 1-6. Looks like its right on time. The next 6 hours should be awesome.

Still putting it down here. Temp has climbed about half a degree, currently 21.2 degrees. 4.1 E of Covington, VA new guidelines say not to do that any more. it inflates totals

AvantHiatus
Rest easy, I am close to changing but those big yellow returns = big fat flakes. Some of them are half-dollar size or bigger. WxMan1
Those lower CCs (correlation coefficient values) lifting north of RIC are definitely where the pcpn is mixing with sleet. It's mixed, but that's how warm layers work. Always think west.. 8 isn't bad, we may get 2 inches of sleet and snow mix to get to 10, but WSET is report 6 so that's lower than my amount.
