Can anyone more familliar with snow growth than I comment why the snow is so dry/sparkly? This is not the type of snow I expect from a Miller A... it is so fine and feels more like a clipper. Seems like plates with dendrites and some aggregates mixed in. I'm guessing at least 12:1 but maybe higher. When it first started around 7:30 it was so fine I thought it was actually rimed and/or fzdz but when I saw the roads/cars get coated in 5 minutes, I knew I was wrong.
