there's gotta be contamination in there or something.. but it's still cool. keeps keeping us all snow till the dry slot too tho it might actually be mix for a while.

I just played the Nexrad regional loop. It seems like the returns to the south and west are drying out? Lots of gaps in the precip developing. And look at that sh!+ off the NC coast. Was this modeled? Precip looks spotty once the "deathband" pushes through around 2am if more precip does not develop.

Take a break from your lab...everything going to be alright.

yes well modeled. Don't worry about it. Precip after the main show will become very convective and popcorn like in nature. When you start to worry is if u see convection racing NE off the coast of VA or further N

Any severe reports from down there....at least you have a severe t-storm watch....

My sister in laws flight from Bwi to Ft. lauderdale was just diverted to Orlando because of the severe weather and she is stranded there overnight. It is pouring with crazy thunder and lightning here now at the beach.
