Jebman
From the looks of the radar I'm wondering if the more western solutions won't be the more correct. I also think this may be bigger than some of the most optimistic projections. whomever gets under the deathbands is gonna get buried alive. Swiscaster
That was a good radar link, Bob Chill. It definitely shows the intensity with great accuracy. I played the loop and it explained why I have accumulation of only about 2 snowflakes deep so far while everyone else in the DMV is reporting some sort of measurable snow. Has anyone tried to match up current radar to the models from say 12 hours ago to see which one had the best representation at this juncture? I started to see some sick returns off the coast of Norfolk on the regional radar and it made me think of those QPF jackpots off the coast that the GFS has been showing... MichaelScott
This band south of Roanoke is going to be awesome. More yellows on the way south of that ban from the looks of it. The regional radar is incredible. Makes me think the NAM is onto something.
