jrodd321
What a morning here. Barley turned over to sleet, was heavy snow most of the morning then went about 80/20 snow/sleet for the last hour as it was still ripping. Around 13" here in Nova. Heisy
You can track the RGEM hour by hour precip types for tonight here...I'm worried about wasting a lot of it on slop/rain...before getting snow to accumulate again in the city; http://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmdn/pcpn_type/pcpn_type_gem_reg.html
RedSky
11.5" currently IP 26F RIP 2003 now past those totals Good shot at overtaking 2010's 60" imby
thedude11
RGEM map above with over another 1" of QPF for many.. Cannot deny the possibility, but wow so many people would be completely caught off guard if anything like that were to verify - assuming that's all for round 2. Yes_Probably_Maybe_No
Hearing GGEM has some decent QPF for round 2 as well.. Hoping someone can confirm. It does but it tracks the LP right over PHL...

Not all of that is snow, it takes a while to cool back off.

Hurricane Agnes
Thanks for the images. Not sure how you are getting them. RAP/HRRR are not working for me and the E-wall is crawling. I was able to see them on e-WALL. Interesting to see the loop of this and how the ip line rolled through as the dry slot approached.
GD0815
Not all of that is snow, it takes a while to cool back off. yeah, the RGEM is warm....NAM, HRRR, and GFS all cooler if i recall.
Yes_Probably_Maybe_No
The more west the LP goes, the better round 2 will be.. For who? Not for PHL It's pretty warm. More than half the precip isn't snow. Prefer an ARW scenario where low is just to the east and pushes off the coast as it makes its way past the area. Still warm to start but we still get like 0.5" of QPF that falls as snow.
KamuSnow
Sleet/Fz Rain - 32F 14.2" total I can't imagine shoveling this stuff. the top 6" are like last monday's snow. We just spent about 2 hours in the rain shoveling what used to be dry snow. Yikes! Should have kept shoveling last night. Did pick up another 1 1/4" of sleet/snow mix before the changeover to all rain around 10-10:30. Storm total so far is 12.2". Awesome storm even if the rain made things soggy for now. Our party time down this way was last night, glad to see you all making out so well further north! Hoping for a fresh coating or more later on. 34F and windy (couple of drizzle drops here and there) in Concord Township, PA.
Heisy
Why do you people want more snow...honest question... Do you realize the implications and hit to the economy Most of us are on this forum because we enjoy extreme weather & enjoy snow....so, yeah, thats why?
