Lance
Switched back to a mix of sleet and rain in Roxborough - 33 F. I should have gotten a yardstick to measure this one - had a few inches as a base and the snow is past the ruler now

NJ_Ken
I will tell you what... if that band of precip to the west rotates just right (and, to my weenified eyes, it looks like it is starting to), the dry slot in the immediate PHL area might be short-lived and and the backlash might be surprisingly long-lived.... and those well north and west might just keep on keeping on for a LONGGGGGG time. snowisgood
At least 13" out here in Lionville. No real accurate way of measuring but I am very surprised we never changed over. This storm has impressed. Right now the snow is tapering off. Hope this dry slot doesn't last too long!
Sophisticated Skeptic
thinking the requirements for Blizzard Warning should be changed. 3 to 6 inches of snow per hour...with just 25 MPH gusts should be good enough.
JCT777
The past 10 minutes it has been all snow in Spring Mount, PA and very heavily falling. Temp is still 30 degrees and we have reached a foot of snow for a storm total.

Actually this forum doesn't need much moderating and have spent most of my time in the NYC sub-forum where the banter thread seems to be a fight club. Feel free to post. Honestly, this is one of the nicest sub-forums in terms of how we treat new posters.

NJ_Ken
Consider this unofficial, but I just got an update from family in Cherry Hill: As of a few minutes ago, they had "around 13 inches". It sounds like things had lightened up considerably so the dry slot appears to have arrived.
