Stormlover74
Sleet mixing in with the snow here in Essex county NJ. Happened even much quicker than I thought ! About 6.5" here, 4.5 of accumulated in just 2 hours Its a battle..a lot of places report sleet only to go back to heavy snow
EastCoastKU
Snow looks to be hanging on in eastern Nassau/western Suffolk. Not what I expected, I'll say that right off the bat. There could be 3-4" more in some of these places than I have at the end of round 1.

jm1220
I have probably near 8" jm..going out in 20 mins I probably have 5" or so, maybe 6. Sleet cut right into it here after 8:30AM. This is so frustrating. Hoping we make up for it in part 2, although a good chunk of that may be lost to rain/sleet too.

SnoSki14
It's been back and forth between heavy snow to snow and sleet to more sleet though now it's more heavy snow. Whatever the case, I see the dry slot is quickly approaching.and things will probably shut off before noon until perhaps we see the CCB later this evening into tonight.
