WintersGrasp
Haha wow....this is certainly keeping it interesting. NAM sim radar VERY impressive as the snow comes in like a wall from the south Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
earthlight
The lift coming over the area at 36 hours is downright awesome for heavy snow.
BxEngine
Comparing the 5h look at 12z thurs from this run and the 18z run, the energy looked more strung out as it rounded the base of the trough, im guessing that kept it a bit more neutral tilt further along? jm1220
Nam suffering some serious convective feedback I figured it was time for the NAM to have one of those runs. That probably means it should be one consolidated low further west, and therefore in line with other guidance.
+SNfreak21
The NAM is consistent with the heavy snows over NYC , Can't deny that

JetsPens87
Big hit at 39 as the low consolidates and pulls ENE/E/NE from CHPK bay.... who the hell knows, there was 6 lp centers at one point LOL

kyle1
The NAM is more accurate now, yes? Also, isn't it at least a little hard to ignore that this model has been very, very consistent?
IsentropicLift
It looks like a good amount of interaction is taking place with the kicker.

Not sure though, its H5 depiction keeps the trough broad/neutral for just long enough that it doesn't crawl N

Sn0waddict
Big hit at 39 as the low consolidates and pulls ENE/E/NE from CHPK bay.... who the hell knows, there was 6 lp centers at one point LOL It too must be suffering from SQL errors. Seriously though. I will hand the NAM one thing, it has been consistent. HPC is probably right with regards to not using it beyond day 1, but to see its solution so different then the other models kinda makes you think for a second. JetsPens87
It looks like a good amount of interaction is taking place with the kicker. Was just gonna say that, you can really see that kicker bearing down on the southern trough. At 42 you can see the kicker literally pressing in on the backside of the southern trough which keeps it from going sharply negative

Sn0waddict
This model has been terribly inconsistent... It hasn't had a single consecutive set of runs... Once again it has flip flopped from west to east to west back east Huh idk about that. It started off pretty west but it's been east for the past few cycles now.
