Strongly agreed, great step in the right direction though. Also, you know how the Euro does with the precip, and precip is always underdone this far out. All and all, I'll take it!

H500 is looking very nice; as we get a sharper trough that trends for even more amplification in the later panels. I believe this will trend a tad stronger given the H500 setup as time goes on because of the orientation of the trough and the surface low should be undergoing cyclogenesis at its stage before reaching mature stage. Overall, this trends to the GFS.

wouldn't get too caught up on QPF totals at this point...its too early to detect where the best dynamics will be but this run is definitly promising.
