mahk_webstah
Jeebus, 971 on the Cape? While it may likely be overdone, I like that it is maintaining an intense system. We need that for tuckin and slowin.
ctsnowstorm628
We're back where we've been for years. Ride the euro. Southern stream is Euro FTW.
ORH_wxman
This may take a superstorm 93 track. No, that was along the CP of NC, VA up near DC and NW of NYC over ORH.
CoastalWx
This may take a superstorm 93 track. I hope not. Canadian is vomity worthy.
powderfreak
Not as great as of a look on the GGEM as it's a heavy snow to dry slot/mix back to snow look..Thankfully it's the GGEM..If we still a run like that on The Euro in an hour..then it's worry time Worry about what? Not jackpotting? You'd still get warning snows most likely. Hopefully we can find a way for everyone to get snow. I don't need to jack, 4" would be fine. CMC keeping it interesting. mahk_webstah
Wow hpc qpf maps are awesome. Look similar to what they had when I was humping them 3 days ago. Will to Ray 1.5+ all snow? 15-20? 1.25+ for me incl friday night. Also 15-20 with ratios probably.

No..don't care about jacks..just would like 12+ of heavy wet snow..with no rain or mixing.

ROOSTA
I'm thinking the QPF amounts here on out will bump with each passing run. I'm liking the trend intensity and track. Million dollar question is the thermal profile setup.

Well yesterday your forecast was for the 84 corridor to jack ..so maybe you've gone away from that idea..I don't know?
weatherMA
Downsloping at PSU? Of course. Even in the SWFE last week we could only manage ~7". That's our best chance at a jack too and we pretty much got one of the lowest totals.
weatherMA
it doesn't look anything like the Euro..It's way west of the Euro It's not way west. It is west though but its irrelevant. It won't verify that far west. Like you have been saying...probably slightly E of the Euro...not too far from what it had at 00z.

Yeah I guess I've just always been partial to the American guidance which isn't doing me any favors in this one so far. I know Blizz always used to blast me in past events for riding the GFS, but for whatever reason I have trouble letting it go if the GFS shows a fringe job. I'm telling you...even a 50 mikle shift east on the euro had you getting good snows. It's not a compact storm.
CoastalWx
GEFS look like just east of ACK. They still look warm at 850mb. In some areas, they have temps of like +2C at 850 with a 700mb low overhead...you aren't getting rain with that...lol.
CoastalWx
But I don't expect the GEFS to always handle srn stream stuff...my guess is euro holds or maybe only moves a tick east.
ctsnowstorm628
it doesn't look anything like the Euro..It's way west of the Euro Euro goes over the outer Cape and CMC over Canal...relatively similar sans strength.

Can't totally discount the ggem....models keep playing with a semi-capture type deal and inside running bmb. But it's also the GGEM and it's the MRF of 2014 usually having at least one black hole per run.
