dendrite
An FYI...the warm nose peaks around 800mb this run. I flirt with the H8 0C while the mid-levels go insane over VT/NH/ME Thu night.
powderfreak
I'm amazed. VT bomb. Yeah everything looked good on that but the QPF...have a hard time believing 0.25-0.5" in northern VT with that track.
TalcottWx
lol. Even cool collected Jay is melting down. Ray loves it especially since I told him to calm down two hours.
subdude
in for 6" on the front end and a couple inches post. Every storm has under performed for my area this season I don't see this one doing any different even though BOX has me for 10-14"

Wow solid qpf here on the GFS...how much of that is rain remains to be seen as we warm here...verbatim... Edit: Actually, on ewall it looks like I may stay snow? TalcottWx
Bridgton, ME would be a great spot to be in. Perhaps over to Pete another jack.
Clinch Leatherwood
Ski areas are doing a major, major dance. Perfect timing before the holiday week. Pedestrian for the I95 corridor between NY and Boston. Couple of inches? I thought it would go east too but the situation has changed with the trailing energy dramatically and that rules the roost. Towel tossed, umbrellas being checked and double checked
Typhoon Tip
holy sh!t! the GFS brings that sucker over head like gargantuan 500mb tornado

Looks like 0.5-0.75 to me. Still low. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~fxg1/AVNEAST_18z/avneastloop.html
Cold Miser
Ray loves it especially since I told him to calm down two hours. Normally Ray would have his one way ticket punched to the bottom of the Mystic River by way of the Tobin bridge by now, but he's mellowed and set his expectations lower as he ages. NorEastermass128
Just seeing it roll off on the NCEP. From the posts, I thought this went over ORH! Over the Cape isn't too bad. Front end, taint, dryslot for eastern SNE.
moneypitmike
I've never loved a GFS run so much. I taint for a brief moment, but looks to be 90%+ snow for the pit. Congrats PF. Congrats me since I'll be up in Bartlett.

TauntonBlizzard2013
Wow that's horrible. A little snow, washed away by a ton of rain. Towel has been thrown on a 6+ event here. Good luck to all up north

Cold Miser
There is a shortwave out west that we are / were expecting to be a kicker and push the low east Thanks. Hopefully this is a professional kicker and not some amateur with a gimp leg.

snowgeek
Yeah everything looked good on that but the QPF...have a hard time believing 0.25-0.5" in northern VT with that track. I think with that track you'll be skiing knee to thigh deep powder. Maybe the GFS's asymmetrical low shape in it's NE quadrant inhibits moisture transport in VT.......I just pulled that one out of my polar vortex. SnowMan
Holy gfs crushing ...lock that in please. Agreed - especially given the GFS warm bias, I think we have a little room with that run...
