RU848789
I must have the shadiest property in town, as 90% of houses are 90% bare, but somehow, we still have 1-3" snow on about 60% of our property, but that's fading fast. I expect to have nothing left but piles after tomorrow's warmth and rain. Was great while it lasted.

IrishRob17
6.5" still of snowpack this morning. That said, there is a growing bare spot under a tree that is on a south facing slope. It will be interesting to see whats left tomorrow morning.
gravitylover
(Patterson NY this morning) 700 feet and up is still 100% coverage and down to ~500 is still 80% or better. There are some torched spots but a lot less than I expect for this time of year. Of course anything that has been disturbed or is even sort of close to a road is a different story but in the woods winter is hanging tough. gravitylover
^^ Same spot today = no changes. There are a few spots that will torch off quickly when the temps go back up and it rains tomorrow but still 100% cover today. If you look right at the base of the tree you can just pick out my tire tracks on the crust from my mt bike.
JBG
Death of a snowpack Rye Brook, March 2014, January 3 -March 28 (two last pictures) March 20, 2014 March 8, 2014 The rain of March 29, 2014 demolished the rest of it. Great winter, R.I.P.
NorthShoreWx
I was able to look out my window and see at least some snow every morning since January until today. The last piles by the driveways melted out during Sunday but we had new snow on the ground by Monday morning. There are still piles to be found in parking lots. I saw a decent pile in the parking lot of target on jerhico east of 110 the other day. There haven't even been piles on the SS in weeks. That pile at target should last another week at least. I would think that's the longest lasting continuous pile on li. Possibly ever as its behind a giant retaining wall.
