Don't know what the temp swings were but i remember saying last May was a near perfect month, this one close to the same

Couple of morning in the 40's to start of June is nothing to complain about

Regarding last May we went from +8 on the 11th to -13 on the 13th, -8 on the 28th to +9 the next day & +14 on the 30th, -11 on the 14th to +7 on the 16th, +13 on the 22nd to -9 on the 24th

.5" rain overnight. Since mid-may rains have become timed just about right and generous enough to make ideal garden watering

0.29" here.   Agree with the sentiment.  Well-timed rains that are not excessive.   There have been some "murky" days (like this afternoon seems to be turning out as), though, which I could do without in May and June.

Hoping for a good soaker at some point this week - down this way the Philly rain shield has been in effect for the last week or so. Not quite a quarter inch last week from Tuesday to Thursday, and just over a tenth Sunday night through yesterday.

Some rain to the west now, trying to make it in here. Had a couple of brief showers out of it so far, still dry under the trees. Overall the spring has been awesome both temperature wise and rainfall wise.

Update - just got about 0.70" of rain in the last half hour. Nice!

Picked up another 0.20" of rain yesterday afternoon, for a total of 0.90" for the day. Had a little rain earlier this morning from that dissipating band of showers. Right now it definitely feels backdoor cold frontish outside, temperature dropped from 69F to 66F, nice breeze at times out of the northeast.

With today's 0.25" of rain so far (more moving up from the SW) we are now up to 2.30" so far in June (+0.86") thru today. YTD we are now at 30.75" for 2014....or 10.75" above normal thru today. To put that into context it could not rain a drop between now and August 10th and we would still be above normal for the year!

This could be the 2nd straight year of no browning of the lawns....
