IsentropicLift
Since I couldn't fine a general discussion thread anywhere I thought it would be a good idea to start one since the weather won't be stopping after the pending storm. The Euro has two strong clippers coming in next weekend. Both look to be light snow events. On next Tuesday the Euro has a fairly strong cutter. We look to be switching back to a more northern stream dominated pattern.

LongBeachSurfFreak
This is definitly one of the most interesting setups in years around here! Pretty much anything can still happen even this close in. I am tempted to sit back relax and let it play out at this point. Watching the emotional ups and downs is enough to make you sea sick. Imagine it from an outsiders prespective. People pick and choose model runs based in their own back yards. Granted not everyone is going to see exactly what they want but it should have it's moments everywhere

NickD2011
There looks to be a warmup starting day 7. Hopefully it's not an early spring.
Stormlover74
There looks to be a warmup starting day 7. Hopefully it's not an early spring. Looks like about 4 days of really mild weather centered around next weekend followed by seasonal maybe below again towards the end of the month. The coldest will be behind us after Monday but we can still have cold snaps and snow well into March even with the pattern change.

Other severe winters featured a reload of winter after a mid-February break. Examples would be 1995-6, 2002-3, and 2008-9.
