So I'm near an inch?  I still think it underdone, looked to me like it closed off the 500h low over a good spot to get us more than an inch. 

Thu at 21z at closes right at the mouth of the Chesapeake... it was still an open wave for the same time on the 18z.. and from what I can remember I dont think the GFS has shown a closed off 500h low prior to it getting off the coast.  Verbatim the QPF reaches back in to Western MD and (like someone said above) it catches on to the deform idea... I like it..

if I am off, I might head to FT Reno since they do better than everyone else and it is right by the metro..my firm almost never closes...I might have to work

 

If any of this verifies and we approach 8 inches, DC Metro above ground will shut down for the first time in 3 years... I work in Silver Spring, so that should guarantee being off
