I wonder if that's what I'm getting right now because it is just pouring down and not small flakes either.

wxmaggot
Wind picked up some, still HUGE flakes here just outside Walkertown. We were outside for a few hours. Snow went to sleet for a short time then changed to monster flakes (.50 pieces) and have held for close to an hour and a half. Unreal!
knowledgeispwr
Winding down south of Winston. Tiny flakes, but a lot of them.

TriadDeac
NW High Point 34.1 Heavy snow, probably the heaviest of the storm Coming to an end soon, but this sure has been fun!
superjames1992
I just got in from shoveling the driveway. Backbreaking stuff... it was like a glacier. Mostly light snow while I was out there, but now we've got some moderate snow again. Heaviest snow in at least an hour.
superjames1992
Wow, heavy snow now! Hopefully this last bit performs, because the ULL has been kind of disappointment IMBY so far. No great rates yet. At least it has kept the melting at bay on the non-paved areas.
NC_WX10
I think I might be in the snow for a while longer seems to be pivoting south right over top of me coming form ROA.
superjames1992
I think I might be in the snow for a while longer seems to be pivoting south right over top of me coming form ROA. I'm afraid to look at radar now in case the back edge is right at my doorstep, but it looked like this thing might do some nice pivoting earlier. 32AndCloudy
Lightening up a bit, but still heavy rates. That last burst put down an inch in 15 minutes!
superjames1992
Wow, I think these rates beat what we had yesterday. This is what I wanted to see with this ULL!

superjames1992
Just south of Kernersville, 1/2 mile south of I-40. Alright, cool. I'm in northeastern High Point (1-2 miles SE of the I-40/I-73 interchange) so hopefully I have some time left. LOL, the driveway is completely covered again, but I'm sure it will melt after this stops.
FLweather
Decent flakes falling but via radar dry only like 5-10db. With compaction and sleet about 6" so far

rxwxunc
Snowed really hard when I was in Chapel Hill. Roads were recovered with an inch in less than an hour. Back home in Mebane, the clouds were thinner and snow not nearly as heavy. Starting to come down heavier but not much is sticking though.
cheapdad00
Day 1 was a huge overperformer in Western Wake county. Day 2 did not live up to expectations. Although I saw a model yesterday that showed a relative qpf minimum on the Wake/Chatham county line and that model held true to form. Very little if any snow today. CoolBreeze
ULL snow ended here now (10 mi south of winston salem NC). Got just over 2 inches from it this afternoon. Not bad!
FLweather
Tapering off here too. Our good friend downslope is killing the ULL.
superjames1992
Still coming down good, but it looks like it's about to shut off based on radar. There's a bit of a pivot going on, but it's mostly pulling off to the north. Areas in the northern Triad might get rates for a little while longer. Roanoke looks like it's still getting pounded. It must be an all-time great storm there.
cigrgd
My parents in Clemson, SC reported about 3.5 inches of snow/sleet yesterday and this morning. They also had about an inch on Tuesday that melted later in the day. So there were about 4.5 inches total for the whole system. It was a very notable event in that it snowed for three days in a row there. I'm not aware of that ever happening there before. But given the 12 inch forecast from the National Weather Service on Tuesday night, it was quite a let down. Up here in Columbia, MD, I had 14 inches.
