About a half inch so far and it appears the snow shield is working a little further north than modeled on this first wave.

jrips27
32.7 right now. Grass and deck have a nice dusting on them. One more degree and this would've been a bad bust. Roads would've been terrible with all the water freezing on them. Neat little appetizer!
burrel2
I’ve got an inch now on elevated surfaces, but it’s definitely melting almost as fast as it’s falling. I think I would be over 2 inches by now if it was just a degree colder at the surface.
oconeexman
I’ve got an inch now on elevated surfaces, but it’s definitely melting almost as fast as it’s falling. I think I would be over 2 inches by now if it was just a degree colder at the surface. That's the problem here it keeps hovering above 32 (32.5 now) so at one instance its an inch then back to less than an inch, but nice to see big flakes falling! Hopefully I'll see a few flakes from those returns. Temp has fallen to 30 from 32 earlier so the CAD is def starting push in.
