Is the radar filling in more in far NW NC and SW VA?

Looks like it.  Hopefully, the ULL crushes us.

BTW, I'd be in meltdown mode if there wasn't already a snow base for the snow to stick to because I'm not sure all this moderate snow we've had would have stuck otherwise with 33F and the torching sun angle.

Congrats to all you NC guys, sounds like a heck of a storm there. Enjoy! Also, congrats to you Gaffney, Rock Hill, and even Simpsonville guys who got a good thumping in the upstate.  :snowing:  :snowman:  :ski:  :mapsnow:

My two inches in Easley was pretty and all but it's kinda hard not to feel like the unwanted old dog in the backyard who has to settle for leftover breadcrumbs.  :(

Looks like that band near Winston-Salem is finally pivoting down this way. It's taking awhile...

It looks like Roanoke is getting rocked today.

Guys I can't even describe how hard it is snowing here for over 4 hours straight 1/2 hour ago we were at 17.5" I'm sure it's at least an inch if not more now. This is unreal

Edit:Roanoke,VA

Kind-of late to the party...been very busy today. Just to report final total. 12 inches on the ground north of Lincolnton NC Rates at one point were 3.5 inches an hour. Looked like chicken feathers falling from the sky. This was an amazing storm. Even had thunder-snow this morning. Winter for my area, just got an A.
