Yes! Sleetmageddon has commenced. Sitting here watching big sleet hit the powder snow on a neighbors car. Looks like meteors hitting surface of the moon with snow splashing up ! Cool and sucks. 26.4 and sleet

25.3 degrees - heavy sleet here as well - never seen anything like it - amazing to sled on

Well I'm here in Raleigh and it looks like I'll be spending the night in the office.  Gave up, parked the car, and walked back.

Better here then stuck in the car.

Good decision from what IM hearing on wral.   Stay warm and hope your power doesn't go out.

21, Moderate Snow. Not quite as heavy as the ridiculous (2"/hr?) rates earlier, but it's still hammering and we've got around 24 hours of storm left.

Last measurement was between 3.5"-4" and that's been about 20 minutes ago.

I'm glad our measurements are matching up.  Between trees, snow blowing off of the roof, etc., it was hard to find good places to measure.

That is right at what I've got as well.

Much smaller flakes now, but still coming down at a good clip.

It's piling up!
