Cold Rain
Can you believe the way the precip is bending around the triangle? It's not. It's virga. If you were 1000 feet tall, you'd have snow on your head.

FLweather
Dont worry yall the 85 corridor is in for a good thump. The track of the SLP is going offshore and the upper air features will probably be just west of the SLP. Track and placement of LP would indicate all snow event 85 NW. I have a hard time imagining mixing issues(atleast zr) with the 850 off to the east aswell.

frazdaddy
I'm hoping it's another "students admitted with ID" game, like the Maryland game back in 2000. Heels will need all the help they can get tonight. Went to one of those at the Dean Dome. That was a blast.
packbacker
Nice snow started here right at noon, per HRRR we are snow until 7-8pm, that should be a solid 7 hours of snow, we should be able squeeze 2-3" out of that,

GreensboroWx
Ah, well NWS said 10-12 and we are past that so at least a partial bust on the start time for sure. There's been no bust...wasn't supposed to start here until after lunchtime anyway. In fact, it may be starting a touch earlier than I saw on the models this morning.....it's coming, don't worry!! Tullioz
Not supposed to have been a flake yet.... According to the NWS Blacksburg snow should have reached the NC/VA border by noon. Last nights update had after 10am. Now they are saying after 2pm. So a delay for sure. THIS MORNING...WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO EXPAND NORTHWARD FROM THE CAROLINAS...REACHING THE VA/NC BORDER TOWARD NOON TODAY.
