kcgreer
The fox21 anchor here just stole a Brick original thought:" this is the just the appetizer before the real storm" he owes Brick some royalties, lol! This is the best appetizer I've had in a while. Big beautiful flakes here in Greer! Locals upped the forecast for today, too. I lived in Clinton / Laurens County in 1/2000 when we were hit with 12" and haven't really seen flakes like that since. These are looking good... amusing my bouche
newcomb68
It sure is. I do not see it moving N at all this morning. packbacker
RAH just put out a little more detailed map on twitter, going 4-6" from GSO to INT. Would expect those to increase later tonight to 6-10". On phone can't post.

snowinnc
Thank you for posting that! My mobile stinks at pulling up maps so that is very helpful. I would *think* that if we just get .25" of ice we should still be good to go. I just don't want any stinking rain to wash everything away! I would see a lot of tears on our kiddos faces if that happened!

FLweather
Man I would absolutely love it if DT maps verified. 12"+ with 16-20" knocking at the backdoor. But I guess I should temper my excitement no more the 3-6" for mby. OTH I don't get the west trend of the 850s on the 6z. 12zs will probably go back east. snowinnc
Where are you located. Northwest Raleigh. About two miles from the Durham County line. We are closer to Wake Forest than Raleigh. I thought that when we moved here we would be the jackpot for winter storms but boy was I wrong

nckhawk
He's not banned and has not been put in timeout as far as I know I wonder if he took some of the poetry / poking personally and got his feelings hurt last week? Hope that he can overcome that and realize that he is a fun, beloved staple during storm time. Maybe he can get back in the game before the power goes out around Wake Forest. He's been doing it for years, why stop now? I'm sure he will be around today. Being in Storm Mode can be a bummer since we can't see who is on. Although, I couldn't imagine him just lurking. Could be wrong though.
