stormtracker
Nothing like being all in 5 days out. Good thing it's not 5 days out. EDIT: NVM, just got what you were trying to say. Bring back fun Ian. It's his birthday, he should make an appearance
Ian
nj2va was all in yesterday. I'm thinking that is what Ian is getting at....Yes. And going all in on this pattern from 3-5 days is probably pretty dangerous.
snowfan
I just wish this scenario were believable. I'll come around if the euro moves east.

Heisy
GGEM is a 971 BOMB http://weather.gc.ca/data/model_forecast/235_100.gif Happy Birthday Ian, thanks for putting up with my weenie-ism Looks like I was late to the show
nj2va
Yes. And going all in on this pattern from 3-5 days is probably pretty dangerous. It was a joke. I was getting at the fact that I didn't partake in the "completely disregard the Euro" posts that were flying back and forth yesterday waiting for the GFS to be right. I know that in this pattern whatever is advertised 5 days out on any model likely will not be the final solution.
stormtracker
We actually are in a decent spot for now probably. But no sense in congratulating ourselves yet. I agree on both. GFS is too far east...Euro is wrapped up inland. Let's take the compromise GGEM and call it a day.

It was supposed to be a one off comment of Yoda wasn't being dense. After thinking it over yesterday it made less sense to disregard the euro totally. Now let's just hope it's too amped at this point. I kinda doubt this solution verbatim but who knows. It's been a long while since we've had a 960s winter low south of the gulf of Maine probably. yoda
12z UKIE at 96 is 998 L right near OBX... 120 its 969 up by Nova Scotia There is no 108 panel... but ~30mb in 24 hrs is a nice deepening bomb going up the EC... so some credence to the 12z GGEM

Fodie77
It's funny how this whole thing started out as a long duration, Mon-Thurs, piecemeal event.
