Bob Chill
Let's hope so. We could use some torch or even semi torch. I'm in. This year has kept me on my toes and wasted too much of my time. I'm ready for outdoor stuff and shorts. I wear shorts and flip flops in the 50's.

MillvilleWx
Canadian shows a very nice snow storm for DC up to NYC. All snow it looks like. http://collaboration.cmc.ec.gc.ca/cmc/cmdn/pcpn_type/pcpn_type_gem_reg.html
Deck Pic
the 84 hr black and white map is low resolution, but we're in the 10mm-25mm area...there's a big difference between being on the high end or low end of that range so we'll have to wait for the color maps which have better resolution I would expect at least .8" qpf off the GEM, and that may be low I'll have QPF in like 15-20 minutes

MillvilleWx
that looks like an 8-12" storm for us Yup. That was a very good run of the Canadian. The key feature you can see using the NA map look is how the GL hangs back far enough west to keep the downstream look better for places like MD and DC. I would take that run in a heartbeat

MillvilleWx
I am so sick i won't even be home for this storm yet i follow it like it is my last storm ever. I need help. It really is a sick and twisted hobby/profession. Meteorologists and weather enthusiasts are just masochists who use weather models and maps to obtain the thrill. I would say it's better than using drugs, but sometimes I wonder
