cyclone77
Dual pol is such a cool tool. But it sucks when you're barely on the wrong side of the mix line. -FZRA at my place now. Haha yeah. It does beat standing at the window squinting, and wondering when/if it's gonna change one way or the other lol. Kind of like ripping the band-aid off. *IndyMeso*
Freezing rain now in Noblesville. Beginning to think I'm in a relatively "good" spot for some ice and sleet accumulation.

cyclone77
Snow has pretty much shut off now. Still a few thin bands to go through that could get us over the 4" mark.
blue60007
Didn't see lightning but heard a rumbling sound...and given the reports I'm assuming it was thunder. Very nice! Back to large flakes here after a brief period of ZR/pingers.

Chicago WX
Quite easily the hardest snow I've ever witnessed. Can't even see my neighbors house. Ever changing p-types by the minute here. cyclone77
pushed through in a hurry but your call was solid Definitely been a fun event, although had a few periods of frustration. The snow is very dense, so we got our money's worth with every tenth lol. Guessing it's right around 10:1, maybe even a tad less like the Hawk due to the pouring of small/dense flakes.
