45 and heavy rain.

System definitely has more precipitation than expected. NWS and TWC only gave 30-40% chances and models except I guess the RAP didn't have all this rain.

Tomorrows night into saturday morning is most likely going to be a carbon copy of today. Over all the models have handled this poorly.

I can report a large rain hole, followed by fleeting sprinkles to number 34 droplets, followed by the moon.  Maybe tomorrow night, when I have a 60% chance of more of the same :)  This follows on the 1 1/2 I got out of the snow and the last two rains total liquid.  T

 Way to go Corry!

Radar looked really good but nothing reached the ground here.

weird. I wonder why it reached the ground here but not there. It was the prettiest snow I've seen in years. Huge flakes. much heavier than we had at any point last week. Of course it didn't last long which is why we didn't get as much as last week.

This makes me wonder about the storms for next week. If we had good returns today but nothing got to the ground do you think we are in the same boat next week?

No, different animal of sorts. This is a fast moving system in the upper atmosphere. The cloud level was never gonna get low enough to give a lot of precip tonight. That's why the returns look great but none of it is really reaching the ground.
