0z nam pretty much is the worst yet lol?. Gives SW pa 2-5 inches with the first wave Sunday afternoon, then pushes the second wave almost all south...

It's pretty juicy for the first wave though, problem is its warm, 850 above freezing, would be sleet or zr most likely. Definitely a non event North of I-80 on the west side of the state though.

If that first wave is to strong, its going to push the front south, and the second wave will miss us.

No you wont.. like a moth to the flame you will be back, if not this season next for sure. We all will. :snowing:

Yeah, it's a sickness we all have. I just don't have a good feeling about this one now. Knowing our luck, this will end up being another nuisance snow like we've had all winter while someone else gets clobbered again. I think I'm pretty much ready for spring if this one busts. I'm tired of the frigid cold and nuisance snows. Bring me the warmth if we can't get a big one. We got teased last week and I kind of liked it.

Yes it looks just like the GGEM. I was worried about that because the GGEM has been the best model that I have seen last year and this year. The last several days it had the second storm moving south and all the other models seem to be following it. We need it to move back North tonight or tomorrow with the 2nd wave. The first wave is still pretty strong but we are counting on both to get the higher totals.

If the Canadian ends up verifying then we may have to make it the new king of the models. Everyone has talked about the Euro being at the top but you're right. The Canadian has been impressive. They are the best at hockey and now have the best model. IF it verifies of course.

It is a sickness! :snowing: .  I followed storms in the mid 60's when I lived in West Virginia.  Now that was hard to do.  Almost no information available anywhere.

For the local media's sake this storm better happen. They are leading the newscasts like Snowmagedden is coming.

I think Stephen Cropper had the right idea by explaining the possible solutions with the storm track and two different accumulation maps.. Still so much uncertainty with this.

Well I saw the GFS and **** me I am not liking our chances. Its always something with a storm this year. Seriously I hope I am wrong but I am sick of this ****. Hopefully the Euro shows a glimmer of hope. Good night all I am drunk and pissed off.

As we get closer to Saturday night, I honestly believe we will see the trend north. I see Pittsburgh and North as the area that will see 8-14. Call me crazy but this last minute move to the south isn't believable. The storm is coming ashore at a lower pressure than originally anticipated, its throwing off the models by taking the energy in Canada and moving it faster and a little more south. I don't believe it. But I guess we will see.

I saw that....looking forward to the 12z outputs here this morning....as the game gets closer and also to see the HRRR.  I just don't see how that third wave of energy gets put so much further east than the past 2 days of runs....we'll see if it comes back a bit, thus pushing the boundary a few miles north again..... :weenie:
