I just looked at the HRR's and it looks like this batch will last 2 to 3 hours and then there is a lull until 5 or 6 in the morning and then a light batch moves through with a front. I am guessing we get 1 or 2 inches in the next couple hours and an inch or less around rush hour.

Surprised NWS didn't put out a Special Weather Statement.

Like I said, you could drive one mile and hit a snow wall. People are gonna have a rough commute if theyre out now.

CONCERNED MDLS MAY BE OVERDOING THE OMEGA IN THE WARM AIR
ADVCTN...WHICH WOULD RESULT IN LESS DYNAMIC COOLING AND ALLOWING
FOR MORE MIXED PCPN...ESP FM PIT SWD...SO INCLUDED A LITTLE MORE
OF A MIX ESP AT THE ONSET. A BRF PD OF MXG IS ALSO PSBL AS THE
FIRST ROUND OF PCPN MOVES THRU THE RGN. BUFKIT PROGS INDICATE A
BRF POTENTIAL FOR GUSTS TO 35 MPH...WITH UP TO 40 MPH IN THE
RIDGES. AFT THE INITIAL WARM AIR ADVCTN PCPN...BOTH MOISTURE DEPTH
DCRS AND IS LACKING IN THE SNW GROWTH RGN. MXG ALSO DMNSHS. THIS
COULD ALLOW FOR SOME AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE.
