HIPPYVALLEY
Same here...moon was visible through thin overcast the last 40 min or so with light snow still falling. Just stepped out and can see the Moon and Jupiter(?) through the clouds with steady light snow.

As i lay in bed watching Olympics, it was nice to see snow falling for a cpl hrs, with a 5 min weenie burst, main roads covered, everything white. Yes beautiful snow ...here here. New Englander
To echo Ginxy it is beautiful. Just enough here to make it a very nice winter night. Not cold out and light wind it's nice to take in the simple stuff.

Damage In Tolland
.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING/...BULK OF THE LIGHT SNOW HAS ENDED ACROSS THE REGION AS A NARROWINVERTED TROF TAKES OVER IN THE GULF OF MAINE. OceanStWx
Meh no need for 2". 1" FTW. The old 2-4 maybe more between exits 25 and 45 on the Maine Turnpike. I wouldn't be shocked if someone living near Two Lights comes up with 6". It was real close to needing an advisory for coastal York and Cumberland, but I don't think either zone had quite the areal coverage needed. CapturedNature
Yeah BOX and the hobbyists that forecast 1-2 did a bit better than the C-1 An inch is no big deal, but I think this is the second little event where there were adamant calls that only a very small area would see more than an inch but I read reports from all four corners of CT with more than an inch. Looks like about 1.5" here.

Our RPM actually had that area pegged and it looked good on the models too. That leftover circulation near CC got shoved right to the ME coast. OceanStWx
Our RPM actually had that area pegged and it looked good on the models too. That leftover circulation near CC got shoved right to the ME coast. The mesos really had it. HRRR and SPC WRF pretty much pegged that area too. We have one 6" report from Saco, might be a bit of a slant stick, we'll see what others call in with. Push this NW another 10 miles and I bet places may have been pushing double digits on the coast.
