IsentropicLift
what are temps like? Can't tell off of that map I'm not commenting on temperature because it doesn't matter. All it matters is that it still blew up a big storm and brought it up the coast.
IsentropicLift
The strength of the high pressures over the past two weeks have been grossly overdone. Nothing even remotely close to 1040mb+ ended up verifying.

PB GFI
40s on the ggem? I would like to see a map that shows that.. Our precip falls at hour 150 falls thru this NYC south at 156 it cools as per GEM , but the precip is just spotty and heads East . So far off , Not looking at it , the GFS has same temp profile , actually further N

IsentropicLift
Just a gross day of cold rain that washes away all our snowpack? No nothing is better. Sent from my iPhone I love big rainstorms, call me strange. The heavier the rain the better. What it stems from is that my love is for big storms, no matter what kind. earthlight
The Euro looks so much different than the GFS. It's a little stronger with the handling of the southern stream fort but I think the overall features and the pattern look quite similar actually. IsentropicLift
The 12z GGEM actually shows you mixed precip on the NW side, I doubt that 40's would even come close to verifying.

I like big rain storms too but you're always the first one to talk about River flooding and ice jam concerns so I'm surprised you would want a flooding rain storm with the snow pack we have at the moment
