green tube
What does it mean when ducks fly north east.....I know its ot but I never saw that. it usually means 1-2" of snow within 36 hours.
Ralph Wiggum
Euro and gfs worlds apart but at least the euro has support for now (ukmet/ggem) to some degree.
LongBeachSurfFreak
4.5 - 5 days out I myself would rather see OTS solutions then coast huggers especially considering the NW trends this winter so far as we approach the eventsBingo it's like you read my mind! Definitly do not want a coastal hugger this far out this winter. We would be looking at a lakes cutter!
Heisy
The ensemble mean is well OTS. Yes, they were OTS, but one of them did have a EURO solution, and a few others made marked jumps towards the EURO in regards to overall setup. I'd expect a big jump at 00z or by 12z tomorrow. IsentropicLift
Heavy rain for everyone. Sub 992mb low inland over the Delmarva. Central PA hammered.
ag3
Still warm at the coast? Storm is plenty cold this time on the west side because of northern stream phase. Track is a bit inland and the coast is rain. But this run was very close to dumping on all of the area.

IsentropicLift
By 120 it's in the Gulf of Maine. Over an inch of rain. Close to a solution that would bring flooding given the snowpack in place.
ag3
Sigh This run was very exciting, IMO. Shows the potential. Minor shifts and we could be talking Mecs #s.
WE GOT HIM
By 120 it's in the Gulf of Maine. Over an inch of rain. Close to a solution that would bring flooding given the snowpack in place. Ill take a nice GFS/Euro combo
IsentropicLift
The precip has a hard time making it up here initially due to the dry air in place. In reality I think the WAA precip makes it up here and most areas start as ice before flipping to rain.

IsentropicLift
The phase happened just a hair late. The energy really dug. Bomb isn't out of the question. Either way I think it's a fast mover.
