SnoSki14
12z GGEM is bone dry. That's because it's east. The gfs is onshore so I'll take that compromise.
IntenseBlizzard2014
Ukie has a sub 1000 low east of the Del Marva at hour120 Looks like the Coastal is undeniable. The question is, is it going to be rain, snow or both? Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk

Rjay
most of that wasn't directed at you personally. More or less a rant from the BS on here. very few provide scientific reasoning for their thoughts, its just gets tiresome. I'm not forecasting anything at this juncture. I just believe this is leaning more towards a slop fest than an all snow or all rain event. Just my $.02 OK no problem and I don't disagree with you that if there's a storm and it's anything close to what is currently modeled with the players we have, that it's a slop storm. It's just hard to believe they have the right solution or even the right players in the locations they end up being. We'll see....plus I agree. This is the year of the weenie. Saturn510
i know its threading the needle. But the Euro has had this similar solution for several runs now of wet snow.
Allsnow
QPF is barely over 0.50" in spots. Fast mover. I would not worry to much about that, as the euro clearly shows a ccb over our area there would certainly be more qpf
Stormlover74
QPF is barely over 0.50" in spots. Fast mover. If we want snow that's probably better. The longer it hangs around the more likely we end up with mostly rain
PB GFI
Good track. Good 850s. Will come down to rates to cool the colum . If it's deeper it's snow. Op looks like the ensembles With that track

ag3
The surface is torched. For who? Atlantic City? NYC's surface is 31-34 degrees the entire storm.
PB GFI
We are starting to see that there will a slp off OBX. In the 4 .5 day time frame. Do not look at details this far out the models aren't going to see it. QPF I'd very difficult to forecast as lighter precip will not cool the surface rather focus on the track and 850s If that's the track OBX to cc it's snow. The models will start printing that out as u get closer if it gets wetter Don't argue details. Take macro view at this range.

SnoSki14
It's still several days out and very marginal so my expectations are very low.
