snowstormcanuck
f-gen bands always seem to set up further north than you'd expect given model QPF output. I've seen it a hundred times but I never learn.

I can confirm this as well by the waterfront at Spadina and Lakeshore, though it's now starting to pick up a bit. Radar looks good.

They love to bury their heads in the sand but that's tough to do with 1"+/hr rates right outside your window.

Ottawa Blizzard
I'm getting hit hard too. Serious snow falling here for the last hour. Snowfall warnings are up for Toronto and Markham!
snowstormcanuck
I thought amounts would even out in the end but it's coming down so hard north of the 401 and amounts are piling up so quickly that it may be tough for downtown and the lakeshore to play catchup. At some point you guys to the south are going to have to get your own f-gen/defo band for that to occur.
Snowstorms
Haha thanks guys. I shall stop by there today

I mean it's localized but some parts of the city are already playing footsies with 6". Plus what's going on upstream in yby. I'm trying to contain the inner weenie in me that wants to call for some big dog total amounts.

I measured in four different places away from drifts and would say I've got between 10-13 cm (4-5") down so far. Still snowing light crazy!
