Can attest to that. Looks like 2"/hr stuff. If only it could snow like this for even just 3-4 hours.

No TSSN though AFAICT

Yeah, doesn't seem like it'll last. Lighter snows towards Hamilton.

Going to need some decent deformation bands to form and stay consistent if we want to hit atleast 10cm (4").

*Potential secondary low this weekend has lost momentum as well. Models kill off the s/w.

Returns starting to fill back in south of London. We're already in the 1.5-2" range. I don't think 4" is going to be that much of a challenge.

About 10cm last night.  Thunder and lightning too around 11pm so that's always cool.

Trip to TO auto show postponed until tomorrow as I am guessing 401 will be really slow at least this morning.  I'll be out to takes some pics of the snowpiles after I finish shovelling out again as they are probably maxed out for the season today.  I  didn't think it would be likely, but the snowbanks are bigger than 2010-11 at least IMBY.

Take a look at this article from TWN. Based on data in downtown Toronto, the city is headed for its third coldest winter of the past 50 years, its 11th coldest of the past 100 years and its 38th coldest winter since records began in 1840.

Not much excitement downtown. We had +SN and visibility down to less than 100 m last night around 1 am when I went to bed, but only woke up to under 3"

-SN most of the morning

Similar story here, around 1am was the highlight. Crashed shortly after. Will get a measurement when I get home but would estimate around 3" as well.

Models have a soaker this Thursday-Friday. Not looking great for our snowpack.

Sadly, nothing on the horizon thereafter -_-.

Sure this winter has been cold with consistent snowcover, but when you compare the GTA with surrounding regions its been sh!t. YYZ is ~100cm for the season, whereas everyone around us is at/nearing 200cm, lol. This differential has been around for the past 4-5 winters, so I have every right to say this.

I agree. However, I would rather have a constant snowpack than have 30 cm snowfalls that melt a week later, as happens in the Mid-Atlantic states. This winter is still an A- for me. The fact we haven't had as much snow as surrounding areas prevents it from getting an A or A+
