roardog
Great overachiever up here too. I know that I wouldn't want to be living in a flood prone area near a river when the melt begins. A lot of rivers have 2 feet of ice on them too.

Whitelakeroy
Where are they finding these people...No way in hell it's that low. 6-7" here easy. Lake Orion, Oakland County. Snow e4.0 inch, reported by trained spotter. He's a trained spotter ... he spotted 4" and reported it. I learned not to look at this stuff that much any more. All I know what I got and ignore these reports. I am well over 70" for the season and loving it!!

stormtrackertf
OMG!!! Did the Detroit people see that 1.5" report out of Dearborn!? I'M in Dearborn and I can tell you we have a lot more than 1.5" (even at 9:00 AM we had more). L. M. A. O. There was more than that falling per hour at that time of day. Chicago WX
Still nice fluffy flake snow here at the moment. This looks to be the jackpot in the IND CWA, from what I can see right now. 0700 AM HEAVY SNOW 3 SSE RIDGEVILLE 40.25N 85.01W02/05/2014 M10.0 INCH RANDOLPH IN CO-OP OBSERVER
stormtrackertf
The sky is clearing here now, and as I look outside I see everyone digging their cars and houses out from yet another big snow storm.Just an amazing winter. All in all around 9 inches of snow here but yet again, hard to get a good measurement because of the gusty winds. There are some BIG drifts out there in the open lots and whatnot. Stebo
Just reflecting back, I would have to say the NAM actually did decently well with the upper level system, the GFS as well late caught onto some decent snows with it. The Euro though way too dry once again.
Justin
4.5" here at my place, about 3" at the NWS Office in DVN it looks like, and KMLI official observing site 6.1" it appears. A hair more than I expected...to bad the ratios were not better or we could have made a run at 7 or 8". On to the next little light snow over the weekend... stormtrackertf
Sadly I don't know as I am off today. Ah, thanks anyway, was just wondering. Quiet as far as snow reports go on the DTX end of things. I did notice Ypsilanti reported 7.8" though, an extremely respectable total considering only 3-6" were forecast and only 3-5" in Washtenaw county.
