When I was driving in to work at 5:30 AM the snow mixing with gruapel as I got to around Brighton.  You could here it hitting the windshield.  The snow was pure powered in Fenton.

It should not be doing it now that the rates have increased significantly.  Rates were average when I was driving in.

When the dry slot moved in I noticed some sleet and freezing mist, but that was hours ago

Sounds about right. Snowing moderate all day then the heavy snow set up shop after 8pm and lasted for 3-4 hours. Easily 10-15" amounts around town.

Official total at KC was 7.9"...saw spotter reports in the same county of 10-12", but anything above that is pushing it (or at least, has no reports per their nws page).

I'm not sure about that. I bet a lot of areas picked up a foot+. Radar was freakin HOT in that town

2.2 inches with the WAA snows. Was expecting 3-6, definitely under-performing so far. Measuring board is swept clean and ready for the deform band. Were going to need some lake enhancement across the Niagara Frontier to get to warning criteria snows I think.

Over-performing here. Some parts of the city closing in on 4" already.
