most of LOT now setting up nicely for a good run over the next few hours.  Some of the biggest flakes of the season here with the heavier returns moving in from the west.

yeah, was gonna say something similar...but there has been some good competition in that category this season...

prolly break an inch in the next 15 minutes if rates continue as they are now

About 1.8" here I guess.  I don't have a great spot to measure.  My gauge has caught 0.18" of precip, which is probably understating it because there is wind, so the ratio is garbage again.

I've been watching the KC radar all day and they are getting blasted.  It has been many years since I've had that much snow.

snowglobe palooza in northern wilco....love watching the LOT radar just blow up like this....seen it happen numerous times this season

yep, serious accums right now. You can see the different layers of snow on the ground with the dramatic increase in flake size. Parachutes falling for at least the last 20 minutes.

the 88 and 80 corridors look golden for a while.

the year of being fringed for you, eh?  enjoy the snows man!  hope it picks up!

Yeah it's trying to fight in, but the dry air feeding in from the north is saying get that **** out of here lol.  Pouring small flakes the last few hours.  Gonna be a much lower ratio than one would expect with a drier snow like this due to flake size.

Some more reports from central IN. Doesn't look like the high end of projections will be met, but a job well done by IND with the WSW.
