Chicago Storm
I'll go ahead and ask the question even if it is weenie ish. How much is that flash flooding convection down south robbing us of our snowfall up here in the Midwest? Most of it is <30kft...So likely not much at all. michsnowfreak
light snow is falling. It looks like we may see a period of heavy snow from about 5-9am or so.
IndTenn
You would think IND is getting pounded by looking at the radar (25+ dbz) but visibility is 1 mile on the latest ob. Visibility was down to about 300 yards just before sunset. Then it came back up, and now seems to be back down again to maybe 500 yards or so. About 5" down. Geos
Down to flurries currently. 2-4" still on the table.
DAFF
Quarter if an inch accumulation so far. Nothing spectacular but that is due to the dry air. You can watch the radar echoes diminish as the head north. Going to be a long haul and not very fun with the snow continuing thru the morning hours. Hopefully by eight am the majority is over with. Gilbertfly
new wordage in the WWA for LOT.... now calls for 3 to 6 inches with perhaps isolated higher totals near the lake....

cyclone77
Been real nice snowfall the last 45 mins or so. Probably picked up over a half inch in that time for a total around an inch so far. Back to a lighter snow already though.

Thundersnow12
The good stuff is just about here and expanding nicely. Also looks like the lake is getting involved the last few scans. And the echoes north of ILX are moving due north. Northern/northeast IL going to start cashing in shortly.
