Pohopoco Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Just stood/sat outside in my breezeway and watched an amazing 1/2hr...HvySnow,HvySleet at the same time...when it was 50/50 the sleet pellets weren't really pellets per se...they were globs of 3/4/5 melted together and the flakes were anywhere from dime size to nearly half-dollar...Loud and wind blowing...the genesis of the outside looksee was to get an official measurment...It was at 3.+ " when I had to get back under...temp's been holding steady at 3 tick's under 22...Those obs were 1/2 hr ago...Now Hvy Sleet is winning,but Snow is still mixed in...
